Scuba Equipment Repairs & Annual Maintenance

Annapolis SCUBA Center offers its customers Scuba gear maintenance and repair services for virtually every manufacturer of Scuba gear. If you have it, chances are we can service it for you.

Why should I have my scuba equipment serviced each year?
An annual service will keep your equipment in top-notch condition. Our certified scuba technicians will follow manufacturer's guidelines by disassembling your equipment, inspecting all parts for wear or corrosion, cleaning it thoroughly, and then reassembling and properly adjusting it. Remember too, that an annual service may be required to keep your manufacturer's warranty valid. Bring your equipment in now to ensure that it will perform flawlessly when you arrive to your destination. 

Annual Regulator Service - This means EVERY year or per manufacturer's guidelines. This includes disassembling your entire regulator, inspecting all parts for wear or corrosion, cleaning it thoroughly, and then reassembling and properly adjusting it. Parts are replaced in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines for service.

Buoyancy Control Device Inspection, Overhaul and Cleaning - Should be performed annually. Inflater mechanism is disassembled, inspected and cleaned (any necessary parts are replaced). Interior of bladder is cleaned and conditioned with a product specifically designed for BCD's.

Visual Inspections of Cylinders - Should be performed annually and in accordance with the PSI methodology. This is a thorough inspection of the cylinder interior, exterior, neck region, and valve.

Hydrostatic Tests -(performed every 5 years) are available to pressure test your cylinder.

Daily UPS Shipping - If your busy schedule doesn't allow for you to bring your equipment in, send it to us, and it will be returned to you via UPS.
